About the Artist
Muntsa was born in Barcelona and she is a Dublin based visual artist and printmaker, and a member of the Black Church Print Studio. After completing her final year in BA in Fine Art Degree at the University of Barcelona in 2011, Muntsa graduated in Illustration at BAU school of Art & Design of Barcelona in 2012. She also obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Animation at Ballyfermot College, Dublin in 2015 and a CEAD certificate in Printmaking at the National College of Art and Design (NCAD), Dublin in 2018. In May 2019, she completed a residency at Karuizawa Mokuhanga School, in Japan. Muntsa has exhibited work at DISCOVER PRINT 19, Greenacres Gallery in Wexford, in 2019, at the CEAD Exhibition, NCAD, in 2018 and at Small Format, Black Church Printmaking Studio in 2017.
